Volunteering with Salado Fire l Bell County ESD #1 is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your neighbors. Whether responding to emergencies, participating in training, or serving at community events, our volunteers play a vital role in protecting the citizens and visitors of our district.
No previous firefighting or EMS experience is required. We provide the training, equipment, and support needed to help you become a successful member of our department. What we ask in return is a commitment to serving with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
Volunteer Eligibility
To be considered for volunteer membership, applicants must:
Reside within the Salado Fire l Bell County ESD #1 Fire District
Be at least 18 years of age
Successfully complete the application process
Meet the department's background standards
Complete the required National Criminal and Offense Report through Sentry Link
